A delegation from the International Catholic Movement / The Arab Educational Institute in Bethlehem visited the new Vicar of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate in Bethlehem on Friday, 10 December 2021.
The AEI was represented by its Co-Presidents Mr. Elias Abu Ackleh and Mr. Fuad Giacaman and its Director Mrs. Rania Murra. The delegation also included members from the administrative, advisory, women, and youth bodies.
His Eminence Archbishop Vindictus welcomed the visitors warmly and thanked them for their presence.
The AEI delegation expressed their happiness and joy and introduced the AEI programs, projects, and activities especially the “Citizenship and Diversity: Christian/ Muslim Living Together in Palestine” which contributes to the strengthening of the values of citizenship, diversity, and living together in the mentalities, attitudes, and behavior of our young generation especially at government and private schools.
His Eminence appreciated highly this type of interfaith work and education. He also expressed his support and readiness together with his priests for such type of mission and values. At the end of the reception, the AEI presented to His Eminence a gift as a sign of love and appreciation.
