On Tuesday, 18 October 2022, the Arab Educational Institute – Sumud Story House welcomed a visiting group of university students from Denmark. Mrs. Rania Murra, AEI Director welcomed them and introduced the institute and its fields of work. Mr. Roger Salameh – Project Coordinator, introduced the “Citizenship and Diversity: Christian/ Muslim Living Together in Palestine” program. In addition to that Mrs. Sahar Zeidan talked about a new project AEI started to work on about young women in Hebron and Bethlehem advocating for civil peace.
Some members of the Bethlehem Sumud Choir attended the meeting and shared their stories of sumud, suffering, hopes and dreams for better future. They also sang some peace traditional and national Palestinian songs and danced with the visitors as part of the Palestinian folklore.
