Last Monday, 10 October 2022, the Sumud Story House women’s group had a workshop with the Dutch volunteer Janny under the title: “Raising Children”. This workshop aimed at raising awareness among the women about: ways of dealing with our children and grandchildren, the importance of better understanding one another. Love as a main concept in the relationship between the generations was the main value. How to give support, engagement, compliments and concentrate on their positive behavior of our children were points of discussion. The trainers stressed the need for being positive with our children as well as giving them space to play, have fun and share playing as a tool for learning.
