On Tuesday from the second of May 2023, a 27 Dutch group paid a visit to the AEI/ Pax Christi Sumud Story House in Bethlehem. The AEI co- organized with the Dutch tour leader Mr. Dick in the two – day stay.
The aim of this visit has been to get to know the daily life conditions of our people to learn about the AEI various activities and projects and to be acquainted the culture of our Palestinian families.
On the first day, the visitors were welcomed by the AEI staff as well as the hosting families. The families took them to their homes where they had had a Palestinian traditional supper and learnt about our families’ ways of life, culture and families issues.
On the second day, the guests headed for the Evangelical Lutheran School in Beit Sahour where the school head Mrs. Georgette Al Rabadi welcomed them and she presented the school vision, mission and activities. Also she talked about the cooperation with the AEI in the Citizenship and Diversity: Christian/ Muslim Living Together in Palestine program. Then she took them in a tour around the school sections and classes.
