The Arab Educational Institute – member organization of Pax Christi International has concluded a number of needs assessment meetings within the project “Young Palestinian Women and Advocacy Campaigns to Empower Civil Peace” funded by Misereor Foundation. Three women’s groups from Bethlehem, Artas and Al Walajeh areas participated in these encounters, in cooperation with the Al Walajeh Women’s Club, Artas Center for Palestinian Folklore, and Sumud Story House. Each of the three communities identified their most important needs in order to implement lobbying and advocacy campaigns later on. This came after a series of discussions and meetings in each group.
